I Must Confess...

... that I'm copying one of my favorites today for this link-up.  If you like sweet, real and honest bloggers, follow Erin @ Love, Fun and Football.  She's great!

... I'm now 35 weeks and as soon as I hit the 37 mark, I will be more than ok for this little girl to make her appearance.

... My belly is starting to show in even my biggest maternity clothes.  I think this means I should stop going out in public!

... I want to get the kids' Easter baskets filled and ready so I don't have to worry about it in late March with a newborn.  I just have no energy to go shopping.

... Speaking of shopping, I want to also get them each a little gift for when they come visit us in the hospital.  I'm hoping I can think of something that can be ordered online.  Any ideas?

... I watch some of the worst shows ever and I'm not afraid to admit it.  My DVR currently consists of the Bachelor, 19 Kids and Counting (so excited it just started back up again), Real World, American Idol, Celebrity Apprentice (sad it's over now), and a few others that I'm forgetting.

... We finally hung curtains in our bedroom and I could sleep in there all day.  And I confess, I basically did on Sunday.  I felt horrible and Tyler was sweet enough to let me rest.

... These last couple weeks I have had some pretty crappy days.  The emotions are all over the place.

... As much of a stinker this boy has been, I love when he crawls up on the couch to snuggle with me.

... I love link-ups, especially ones that allow me to just list out some random thoughts!

4 year and 2 1/2 year checkups

Last night we had the kids' checkups.  I thought it would be pretty easy since nobody needed shots and they love our pediatrician.  Shortly after we got there I found out that the shots Kyla was going to get at 5 years old, they wanted to give her at 4 years instead.  So she was going to be getting 3 shots.  One of which is the second (and last) of the MMR so with the measles scare, they are doing them at 4 instead.  I was glad she'd get them over with, but I wasn't feeling well, it was 95 degrees in the room and I really didn't want to ruin her happy mood.

Kase has been going through a shy stage so he sat with his eyes covered and as soon as the doctor started his checkup, he freaked out.  He did not want her touching him, talking to him or looking at him.  I remembered I had some graham crackers in my purse and you'd think they were magic.  He was happy, but was also done with his checkup so maybe that had something to do with it.

Kyla is 3'6" (89th percentile) and weighs 42 lbs (90th percentile).  She passed the hearing test with flying colors, but unfortunately failed the vision screen.  I'm hoping it was just a fluke, but either way, we have an appointment next week with an eye doctor.  It wouldn't surprise me if she does have bad eyes because mine are horrible.

Kase is 37" (81st percentile) and weighs 34 lbs (92nd percentile).  He is behind with his language, which Kyla always was too.  It was around this age that her language really took off and now we are amazed that we were ever concerned.  So I'm not overly worried about Kase, but it's free to have someone come out to the house and evaluate him, so we are taking advantage of that.  A lady is coming tomorrow to meet with me and go over everything.  And then hopefully they can come back soon after for the evaluation.  I'd love to get that done and see if he does indeed need to be in the program before I have the baby.

I need to do a whole post just on Kase because this boy is a handful right now!  I just don't have the energy right now.  Plus I should probably go get him off of the TV stand!
